ECHOS establishes Cancer Mission Hubs for the EU Mission on Cancer. The hubs facilitate involvement of national, regional and local stakeholders. ECHOS promotes the creation of these Hubs in Member States – e.g. through events on inception, specific issues and awareness raising. ECHOS also establishes stakeholder networks across Europe to support the Cancer Mission, creates the foundations for a European Network of National Cancer Mission Hubs and engages citizens. It also establishes synergies to the other 4 EU Missions.
On a political level, it aims to position cancer as a national priority in all policies, stimulate related investment and promote capacity building.
CANDLE liaises with ECHOS to provide synergies between the National Cancer Data Nodes and the Cancer Mission Hubs, exchanging views on national perspectives.
