The EU Cancer Mission conference in Cyprus marks the third event in the Mission’s communication and stakeholder engagement campaign, building on the successful conferences in Warsaw (June 2025, focusing on prevention and quality of life) and Copenhagen (December 2025, focusing on diagnostics and treatment). The event in Nicosia will focus on the EU Cancer Mission’s foundational pillar, Understanding Cancer, with a special emphasis on digital health innovations and data-driven research, including the Cancer Mission flagship initiatives UNCAN.eu and European Cancer Patient Digital Centre (ECPDC).
The CANDLE Project will be represented by our Project Coordinator, Prof. Gerrit Meijer of Health-RI, who will contribute his views to a panel presenting the UNCAN.eu initiative and its integration with the European Health Data Space.
